Welcome to Katrina Zeno’s landing page for her passion – reaching the world with Theology of the Body for all ages and states in life. While many people perceive St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body as primarily for married people or as a chastity message, its life-changing impact and incredible riches reach way beyond these areas, even to the very young (ages 3 to 6). In a culture and era where human identity has become disfigured by gender confusion, Theology of the Body offers a new opportunity to consider questions we’ve never addressed before: Why are there only two sexes – male and female? Why can’t we experiment with and explore sexual identity and reshape the body to reflect how one feels on the inside? Is it unloving to restrict marriage to only a man and woman? And most especially, how do we protect and educate our children – even our very young children – on the gift of their bodies and God’s wise and sacramental plan for their lives?
Given these new challenges, Katrina has redoubled her efforts to reach Catholic educators – Catholic school teachers and administrators, parents (and grandparents!), priests, deacons, catechetical leaders, and those providing various forms of faith formation (OCIA, Confirmation, etc.) along with religious orders and those in novitiate or seminarian formation. You are on the front lines of protecting and passing on authentic human identity through the time-tested treasures of the Catholic faith. Katrina would love to join you in meeting these challenges and to accompany you through learning the layers of St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body specifically applicable for catechesis (explaining and passing on the faith). Please take a moment and contact her at tobspeaker@gmail.com to see how we can respond together to this catechetical moment in Western society and the Catholic Church. And remember, you are a gift!
We invite you to visit Katrina’s YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/tangohio) where a large number of her talks are posted as both videos and audio recordings for a variety of audiences and 3 levels of knowledge (beginning, intermediate, and advanced). You will quickly notice that much of Katrina’s speaking and educating centers on St. John Paul II’s understanding of “gift,” which is why Theology of the Body is for Everyone!
